Strategic Assistant

Weaver is seeking a highly motivated and resourceful Strategic Assistant to support the CEO in driving key initiatives, aligning cross-functional teams, and ensuring strategic priorities are executed effectively. This role goes beyond traditional administrative support—it requires strategic thinking, strong communication, and the ability to manage high-impact projects with discretion and independence.

The job responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Anticipate the CEO’s needs, understand business objectives, and proactively identify and address challenges before they arise.
  • Provide thoughtful input and relevant insights to support organizational strategy, planning, and executive decision-making.
  • Manage complex responsibilities with autonomy, prioritizing effectively and resolving issues with a solutions-focused mindset.
  • Handle sensitive information and relationships with the highest level of confidentiality and professional discretion.
  • Serve as a strategic liaison between the CEO, internal teams, and external partners to ensure clarity and alignment across the organization.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders through clear, confident, and professional communication.
  • Leverage automation and project management tools to monitor timelines, track deliverables, and support efficient execution of strategic priorities.
  • Coordinate and drive forward special projects and key initiatives with attention to detail and organizational agility.
  • Conduct targeted research, collect critical data, and synthesize findings to inform executive-level decisions.
  • Deliver concise, well-organized summaries and actionable insights on high-priority topics and initiatives.
  • Develop visually polished and persuasive PowerPoint presentations and executive-ready materials.
  • Record and distribute accurate, detailed meeting minutes, capturing decisions, action items, and follow-ups.
  • Manage the CEO’s schedule with foresight, balancing meetings, deadlines, and strategic focus time.
  • Triage, respond to, and direct incoming communications with professionalism, timeliness, and sound judgment.
  • Ensure seamless communication and timely information flow between departments to maintain organizational alignment.

Our ideal applicant:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a strategic support role such as Executive Assistant, Project Coordinator, or similar.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • High level of emotional intelligence, discretion, and professionalism.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Comfortable working independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with project management and automation tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other business productivity tools.
  • Must be able to work on-site at our Mt. Hope, OH office.
