National Accounts Manager
Weaver is seeking a full-time, experienced National Accounts Manager to join our team. We are looking for an effective and persuasive communicator who can maximize sales revenue and gross margins by selling our full line of equine, pet, and livestock products to assigned accounts and prospective accounts.
Key responsibilities of the position include:
- Building and maintaining relationships with established and prospective national account buyers through frequent visits, trade show attendance and contact by phone and email.
- Identifying and pursuing new business with prospective national accounts.
- Managing assigned account activity ensuring that priorities, deadlines, and account goals are met.
- Working closely with sales and purchasing team to create competitive quotes, presentations for new and existing national accounts and forecast sales demands.
Our ideal applicant:
- Previous experience in an outside sales position and/or a related field with a proven track record for sales results.
- Consumer product experience with farm stores and buying groups preferred as well as equine, livestock or pet related experience.
- Effective communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Must be a team player, with strong interpersonal skills, and can work well in a cross-functional environment.
- Must be detail oriented, organized, and able to be flexible in style and approach when dealing with changing business needs.
- Available for frequent travel.
- Ability to work out of our Mt. Hope, Ohio office.
