Director of Sales

Weaver Brands is seeking a strategic and relationship-driven Director of Sales to lead and expand our sales performance across our dealer, distributor, and representative network. This role is responsible for developing and managing independent sales representatives, strengthening channel partnerships, and driving sustainable revenue growth across all territories.

The Director of Sales will combine strong leadership with firsthand understanding of equine products, independent industry retailers, and market dynamics to open new opportunities, rebuild lapsed relationships, and strengthen Weaver’s presence in key equine-focused markets.

The job responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Lead, coach, and manage the independent sales representative network to achieve growth and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Develop and execute territory strategies that expand market presence and reinforce Weaver Brands’ position across key partners.
  • Identify new business opportunities and re-engage former or inactive accounts.
  • Set clear sales goals and accountability measures for representatives and partners.
  • Conduct field visits, customer meetings, and business reviews to assess performance.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to align promotions and initiatives with market needs.
  • Analyze sales data and trends to forecast performance and guide strategy.
  • Represent Weaver Brands at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.

Our ideal applicant:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • 5–7 years of progressive sales leadership, including managing independent reps or multi-territory teams.
  • Significant experience in the equine industry, with hands-on familiarity using equine products or demonstrated deep working knowledge of equine product applications, end users, and buying behaviors.
  • Proven success in driving sales growth and building strong customer relationships.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in agricultural or outdoor lifestyle markets a plus.
  • Ability to travel extensively (50%+); hybrid or flexible arrangements may be considered.
