Ecommerce Product Data Specialist
Weaver Brands is seeking a detail-oriented Ecommerce Product Data Specialist to support the accuracy, consistency, and performance of our product catalog across digital platforms. This role plays an important part in ensuring product information is complete, accurate, and ready for customers across both our direct-to-consumer and B2B channels.
The Ecommerce Product Data Specialist works across ERP, Shopify, and Salsify to support product setup, ongoing updates, and overall data integrity. This position partners with Category Management, Marketing, Operations, and IT to help ensure a consistent and reliable product experience across all channels.
The job responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Execute new product setup, ensuring all product attributes, descriptions, pricing, and images are complete and accurate.
- Maintain and update product data within the ERP system and ecommerce platforms.
- Support ongoing catalog maintenance, including discontinued item cleanup and data corrections.
- Update product descriptions, attributes, and imagery to ensure consistency and alignment with brand standards.
- Execute product updates within Shopify, including product setup, collections, tags, and merchandising support.
- Assist with product content updates and enrichment within Salsify.
- Identify and resolve data inconsistencies across ERP, Shopify, Salsify, and other integrated systems.
- Support both B2B ecommerce portals and DTC storefronts.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely execution of product updates and launches.
- Monitor product data for accuracy and completeness, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Our ideal applicant:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- 1–3 years of experience in ecommerce, product data management, merchandising support, or a related role
- Experience working with ecommerce platforms such as Shopify preferred.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and product data workflows preferred.
- Experience with Salsify or similar PIM systems a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Able to work on-site at our Mt. Hope, OH headquarters.
