Metal Shop Fabricator & Welder

Weaver is looking for a Metal Shop Fabricator & Welder to join our skilled production team. In this hands-on role, you’ll work with aluminum and galvanized steel to build high-quality products such as show boxes, grooming chutes, and trimming stands. Whether you’re an experienced welder or someone eager to grow in metal fabrication, this is a great opportunity to contribute your skills in a dynamic and supportive shop environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Fabricate and weld metal components to build standard and custom products.
  • Operate a variety of metalworking equipment including welders, saws, drills, presses, and hand tools.
  • Read and follow blueprints and instructions to meet quality and safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Contribute to process improvements and product enhancements.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Our ideal candidate:

  • Welding or metal fabrication experience (preferred but not required).
  • Ability to read measurements accurately and operate fabrication machinery.
  • Strong attention to detail, good time management, and solid problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable with repetitive tasks and maintaining consistent output.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and able to lift up to 100 lbs safely.
  • Able to work out of our Mt. Hope, OH facility.
