Leather Cutter

Weaver is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Leather Cutter to join our hands-on manufacturing team. In this role, you’ll work with a variety of tools and equipment to cut leather materials accurately and efficiently. If you have a strong work ethic, understand leather quality, and enjoy hands-on, precision work, this is a great opportunity to be part of a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities to include:

  • Organize daily cutting tasks for maximum efficiency and minimal material waste.
  • Read and follow detailed work orders and instructions.
  • Cut leather using tools such as a draw gauge, round knife, or strap cutting machine.
  • Ensure leather is cut to the correct size, shape, and quality standards.
  • Inspect leather for grade, consistency, and defects before cutting.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Our ideal candidate:

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Able to use hand tools and safely operate cutting machinery.
  • Comfortable reading a tape measure and understanding basic measurements.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Can work independently or as part of a team.
  • Able to lift up to 100 lbs. and perform repetitive tasks with focus and care.
